"This is like the classic Langhorne Creek shiraz
and cabernet blends that won nearly every trophy in Australia in the 'seventies and
'eighties, before broadacre investment viticulture surrounded Langhorne
Creek. It's slender, yet very intense;
complex, yet elegant; lovely now, but set for at least fifteen years in the
cellar… Its modest alcohol sets it apart from the current fashion of jammy, porty,
overtly alcoholic reds of no gastronomic interest, but which make dudes like
the Parkerilla happy. This is sublimely
elegant, supple, savoury red that makes the drinker hungry."
